Learn Microlight Flying in India

Welcome to Bangalore Aerosports, India's only Microlight Flight Training Center. Situated at Mysore Airport, we operate all year round on a 1.5km long runway using X-air, 3-axis Microlight, for training. A 20-minute drive, from central Mysore, on the Ooty - Mysore highway will get you to the Airport. We operate from Jakkur Aerodrome in Bangalore also.

About us

Founded by Wg Cdr Ashok Mehta a fighter pilot with the IAF, the company specialisies in imparting flying training on three axis Microlight, X-Air.

Audrey Maben, co founder is a hobby pilot who has won accolades for her performance in the Air Race India 2003, as a solo pilot on the X-Air covering 2400 kms in five days.

Capt Vinitha Mariappa,founder member is a hobby pilot with over 1000hrs of flying experience from India and Europe and is a DGCA Approved Examiner on Microlights.
